Nat west shouldn't be charging loads of interest. I had a 鎷?2 thousand loan from them and the interest was only 5.9 percent. If you are a gold current account customer you get a special deal on the interest rate. Ask about changing your bank account to one if you are not, although there is a monthly charge so it may not benefit you after all. The best you can do is ask to speak to one of their financial advisors about lowering the rate. They like to look after their customers.

ps. My loan is payed off in 11 months! I can't wait!

Are you paying extra to cover your payments if you lose your job? If so, check if they are really necessary and if not cancel them.

You need to find out how much the APR is.If its fixed stick with it

or you can check on line for a cheaper rate.Then borrow over 5 years %26amp; pay it back.At the moment it is hard to find APR below 8 per cent.We took a loan out before they got into trouble with Northern Rock got it at 5.09 we borrowed 6,000

Depending whether you have a redemption penalty?

Check to see if you cancel the loan do you have to pay a penalty? (Phone them up and they will tell you)

If not and your sensable with your money you could open 0% credit card accounts which means your not paying interest in the first year and continue to pay your 340 against them or less with every penny removing your debt. When your year is up move to other cards and continue to pay. Your loan will have no interest on it.
