What is the least I can spend on a decent Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle?

Ive wanted a bike for a while but havent been able to afford it with college loans and such. What do you think is the cheapest price for a decent one?

Do not waste your money on a 650R. It is over priced and under powered. I would get the 500 before the 650R, the performance to cost is much better. But for about $2500 you could get a used 250. They sell new for about $3000-$3300.

You can buy a used ninja 250 for around a thousand dollars.. If you want to buy a new one for cheap you can get a ninja 650r for about $7,000. You can get a used 636 in good shape for around $4,000.

Get a Ninja EX500R they are cheap to buy cheap to inshore and they are grate for new riders. Don't get a 636 they have too much power for a beginner besides they are more expensive and the insurance is more.

Ninja 500 show up on craigslist every now and then for $1500 - $2000... which is way low, and the comment reads %26quot;need money%26quot; or %26quot;wife says get rid of it.%26quot;

My 250 had 800 miles on it and I stole it for about 2100. I've probably already got 500 bucks back in the gas I've saved. 250's are pretty good to. I'm wanting some more power and would love to have that purr bigger bikes have but I'm content with what the 250 has to offer.
