Ok, you're still in college or may have just graduated from college, and you get engaged. I was wondering from a girl's perspective what they think would be a modest price for a ring. Obviously, since you're both in college or just finished, you don't have a real job yet and will soon have student loans, rent, and other bills to pay now. I know that typically it should cost a guy 3 months of his paycheck, but like i said earlier you don't have a job yet. I mean she can't expect to get one that is like 3,000-4,000 but at the same time I know a cheap one isn't good. What's your opinion?
What's a decent amount to pay for an engagement ring being a college student?
The price shouldn't matter to a girl... in fact she shouldn't even know how much you spend on it!! Personally I would be happy with anything as the ring isn't the important part, I would just be excited to spend the rest of my life with the person I love!!!
